New GPU Accelerated Drawing Performance:
· TurboCAD’s Redsdk drawing engine, which takes advantage of GPU-based graphic cards, has now been implemented in Hidden Line and Draft Rendering mode, as well as Wireframe Mode to design up to 60 times faster in these popular modes.
New Multi-threading support:
· The new Lightworks 8.3 rendering engine supports multi-threading, taking advantage of multi core processors so the turn around time on the lighting and rendering calculations are much faster. ACIS operations that include two and more objects (i.e. Boolean operations, face to face lofting, extrude to face, imprint, etc.) also now support multi-threading, so these operations execute much faster.
